Today the WGSD School Board approved a contract for the position of District Administrator. The following message from the WGSD School Board was sent to district staff this evening. Mr. Brzinski will take over starting July 1, 2015. I am including a picture of Mr. Brzinski from his Linkedin page.
“It is with great pleasure and excitement that the Waterford Graded School District School Board announces the hiring of our new district administrator, Mr. Ed Brzinski. Mr. Brzinski comes to our district with 25 years of experience in education at the elementary and middle school levels. He has spent 20 years as a classroom teacher and 5 years as a principal and district administrator in Geneva Joint #4. Mr. Brzinski’s strengths as an educator and leader were directly in line with the characteristics and attributes our community and staff desired in the next district administrator. With Mr. Brzinski’s leadership, the school board is eager to build upon the outstanding success our district has already achieved due in no small part to the dedicated work of our talented teachers, staff, and administration along with the amazing support our schools receive from parents and community members.
We want to thank all staff that participated with us in the superintendent search process. As the current school year comes to a close, a transition plan will be put into motion that introduces Mr. Brzinski to the district staff, parents and community.”
